Paramore

on Dec 18th, Paramore posted on their website that Zac and Josh Farro have decided to leave the band.

an excerpt from the blog says:

"A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore. We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere. But we never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind."

heart-breaking news to all Paramore fans.

Paramore will continue to make awesome music and we're there to support, them!

"We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here are ready to take on another chapter of our journey together. You have always been what keeps us going so why would we stop now? We want to stick by you. Knowing that we have a unified passion and a clear vision makes us feel stronger than ever."

the official blog can be found here

and on that note, i leave you with this track.

Reconcile!

Ignore the title that was just a line from this new song I'm sharing. It's Typecast's new single "This Kind of Silence" off their new album How Your Influence Betrays You. Personally, I love the new stuff from the album, they continue to deliver their own brand of "emo" music.

Chill Saturdays is cheesy today...because I saw fireworks last night at the lantern parade.

Makes one hope.makes one dream.makes one...well...see a LOT of colors.

Rock your socks off!

Here's a track from the band Paulson called Voids. They remind me of Minus the Bear but with a more rock feel.

P.S.

My new new band will be influenced by Paulson, Taking Back Sunday, and +44 so watch out :D

I feel like dancing and having fun

After my series of melancholic post-rock posts, here's a track from the band Passion Pit called Little Secrets. It's all dance-y and happy which I hope will brighten up your day like it did mine.

P.S.

Don't be put off by the vocalist's singing voice. I find it refreshing and complementary to the band's happy sound. Give him a chance haha

an MCR song that can start your day right!

So i have obtained recently a copy of the new My Chemical Romance album
it has been on loop for 3 days straight now... I can't seem to stop it, I am really enjoying the new sound of the band. (Don't even dare try to compare this with the previous 3 albums)

...and even though Na Na Na is already an upbeat track. I always find myself starting my day with this track... :)

Daydream

One Night Only's (they're my current addiction :p) song called "Daydream" . This was supposed to be included in their self-titled album, but they recorded this track as a B-side instead. :)

The band's current members are:
<3 George Craig – lead vocals, guitar
<3 Mark Hayton – guitar, backing vocals
<3 Daniel Parkin – bass
<3 Jack Sails – keyboards, backing vocals
<3 James Craig – drums

a good way to end the evening

this one's from Go Radio, entitled Goodnight Moon.

it's the acoustic version, I really think it's better than the album version.

also, this track has a comforting effect on me, especially at this time, so I hope you'd be able to enjoy this as much as I do.

It's Always Stormy in Tillamook

... is the title of Meg and Dia's latest EP. It contains 7 tracks. some are very fun to listen to, some are just plain sad ( i mean, the songs are sad.), nonetheless, it's a very good album.

oh, they recorded the tracks from May~June 2010 in Tillamook, Oregon, hence the title. :)

They did a digital release for this one, so you can download it! it will only take you 5mins or less (depending on your connection speed, of course)

here's a taste of what's in it. Enjoy!
